This page covers some of the buses seen at the East Grinstead running day on 25th April 2010 as well as from previous years 2005 to
2008.
There are some other bus types as well as Routemaster's, but I make no apologies for this, as RM's never ran in isolation did
they!.

Starting in 2010, RM123 was a surprise attendee. As far as I know this vehicle has not been to East Grinstead before, although I missed 2009 so I may be wrong.
RMC1486 was blinded not for the 409 but the 705 which it came down to East Grinstead as. During the day it performed duties over the 409 route as seen here on the way in to East Grinstead from Felbridge.
RMC4 was a nice surprise visitor. I had the privilege of standing dowstairs after catching an RF on the 494 to Lingfield and changing onto a 409, little realising how full it was!
A bus I havent seen before is RM70. This was another static visitor up at the end of the High Street.
A non Routemaster but from the same LT era was GS62 looking very full and about to pull away for a long trip to Oxted. There are some interesting hills on that route!.
Finally from 2010, is another non-RM was RF633, following the 428 route to Dormansland.
April 2008 saw RT604 making an appearance in London Country lincoln green livery, running the 424 out to Copthorne and back.
On the same day, RML2699 appeared once again, this time waiting for a short run down to Forest Row.
Here is RTW185 in the High Street showing it would have usually run on City and West end routes such as the 8 and 8A.
In 2007, RM1955 appeared, still with route 36 blinds, but advertising the forthcoming Worthing running day of July that year. This bus was a static exhibit that day.
RML2731 in very smart Metroline livery was in King Street waiting to take up a 409 duty in bright sunshine. The KX garage code show that this was stabled at Kings Cross outstation, probably on route 390 before OPO conversion.
In 2006, on a rainy day, RML2301 was fully blinded for route 409 to Forest Row, complete with Godstone Garage (GD) garage plates.
FRM1 was an interesting bus to find, made up of 60% Routemaster parts, this unique vehicle was available for riding on, so of course I took the opportunity!.
Back in 2005, RMC1469 put in an appearance and was found lurking in a car park round the corner!
